If you are having a conservatory installed by Guild self Build then the design can be worked out between you and one of our designers/surveyors when they visit your home to discuss your conservatory installation. They will have access to lots of brochures and samples to assist you in coming up with the perfect solution for you !
If you are going for one of the DIY Options then the first thing you need to do is design your conservatory and have a good idea of what you want and what will work with your property.
Use our gallery and styles pages to help visualise different styles of conservatory on your property and use the brochures in the downloads area.
You can request a full info pack by filling out the contact us page, or if you have a good idea of design already then go straight to our quote request form and send it off, we will then provide a quote and a 3D cad drawing showing how your conservatory will look.
When you are designing your conservatory be aware of the following
Box Gutters
Planning & Building Regulations
These can be required when the existing house is a bungalow and there is no height to fix a conservatory roof. Or when there is a height restriction such as a soil pipe you may need to use the box gutter option. It is also used when you are adjoining an extension down one side or butting up to a full height wall.
See our planning page for more info – but when you are designing your conservatory always have the restrictions in your mind, if in doubt ask us and we will be happy to advise.
Complexitiy
Be aware that on a DIY conservatory the more complex a design you choose the more complicated and time consuming it will be for you on site when it comes to installing the job. Obviously lean to conservatories are the simplest to install with p shape designs with valleys etc being the most complex.
Whatever your desired style of conservatory we will be able to provide a DIY or fully installed solution at a very competitive price, we look forward to hearing from you soon.
